Mike James
OWNER
When Mike took auto body shop in high school in the late ’80s, he found his calling. His interest and knowledge grew as he worked on cars in a shop behind his home for many years as a 2nd job. Then he worked as a full time body tech and then a painter. He took this his knowledge combined with his customer service and business experience and purchased NuLook in 2002.
Mike has had his hand in every part of the business from doing body work, frame work, paint work and management for 36 years. Most importantly, he enjoys meeting new people and helping to solve problems.
Family is important to Mike and the NuLook business. Ambur, Mike’s 26-year old daughter works with him, helping to run the office and do estimates on auto body repair and painting. Mike has been married to Katie for 8 years. Mike says: “Katie keeps me grounded.” Together they have a big family; he has two boys: 14 and 16 and he has two girls: 26 and 30.
Mike takes pride in his work, and this dedication is reflected in his perfectionist attitude when working on each car that enters NuLook.

We service both foreign and domestic vehicles. We are a full-service shop, which means we can accommodate your repair needs for paint touch-ups, dent removal, frame alignment, and more.
